Once upon a cold winter’s day
Much to my great dismay
From my true path I did stray
To a wicked enticement I did stay
When all the world was abysmal and gray
I wanted fun to brighten my day
At my best and my worst heyday
I slid into the seduction of foreplay
All those temptations lay
In a colorful irresistible display
And I had no chance but to foray
Into that life’s alluring array
Like blossoms in a fragrant bouquet
I was drawn to the burning fire’s sachet
A seeming treasure chest cache
And in the end that golden ray
Arched and crossed in hardcore melee
Wrought from naught to naught I say
And so I learned to stay away
